Printable Calendar Maker
Month or year calendars in 17 languages with week numbers and public holidays.
Try an example: German 2027 wall calendar with ISO weeks and Bavarian holidays · US year at a glance on Letter landscape · Arabic six-month calendar
How it works
Make a printable calendar for any year: one month per page or the whole year on one page, in 17 languages including right-to-left Arabic, with ISO 8601 or US week numbers, the first weekday of the region and public holidays for 16 countries (2024–2030).
- Month grids use the proleptic Gregorian calendar in UTC. The first weekday follows CLDR week data for the region (for example Sunday in the US, Monday in Germany, Saturday in Egypt) unless you choose one.
- ISO 8601 weeks start on Monday and week 1 contains the year’s first Thursday; a row shows the ISO week of its Monday. US weeks start on Sunday and week 1 contains 1 January; a row shows the US week of its Saturday.
- Month and weekday names come from the CLDR data built into the JavaScript runtime (Intl.DateTimeFormat). Arabic calendars run right to left. Text is shaped and embedded with Noto fonts.
- Public holidays come from the RuleDate data set (Nager.Date) for 16 countries, 2024–2030; regional holidays need an ISO 3166-2 region code.
Holiday data covers 2024–2030 and nationwide plus listed regional holidays; school holidays and local observances are not included. Check dates that matter.

How to use the Printable Calendar Maker
Print monthly or one-page year calendars in 17 languages with ISO or US week numbers, the right first weekday and public holidays.
What it is for
A wall calendar for the kitchen, a year planner for the office or a school-year overview: this tool prints month pages or a whole year on one sheet, as a true-size vector PDF with SVG and PNG pages. Month and weekday names come from the Unicode CLDR data, the first weekday follows the region, and Arabic calendars run right to left.
Public holidays come from the RuleDate data (Nager.Date) for 16 countries from 2024 to 2030, including regional holidays when you give a region code. School holidays and local observances are not included.
Worked example
We asked for 2027 in German with country DE, region DE-BY (Bavaria) and ISO 8601 week numbers. The result: 12 month pages, weeks start on Monday, and 12 public holidays, named in German — from Neujahr (1 January) and Heilige Drei Könige (6 January, a Bavarian holiday) to Fronleichnam (27 May) and Allerheiligen (1 November). With Months set to 3 the same request lists only the 4 holidays of January to March.
The second example prints the whole year on one landscape US Letter page with US week numbers and US holidays: weeks start on Sunday, 12 holidays. Note two entries from the federal data: Christmas Day falls on Saturday 25 December 2027 and is observed on Friday the 24th, and New Year's Day 2028 is observed on Friday 31 December 2027 — both appear on those observed dates.
An Arabic calendar for 6 months with weeks starting on Saturday puts Saturday in the right-most column.
How to read the result
- First weekday: the column the weeks start with — from the region (CLDR) unless you chose one.
- Holidays: the list printed in the day boxes, with date and name.
holidayDataCoverstells you whether every year of the calendar is inside the data range. - Pages and page size: one per month, or one for the whole period.
- Files: the PDF, plus SVG and PNG of the first page. Open in the app loads the calendar into Printshop for further changes.
Tips and common mistakes
- ISO 8601 weeks start on Monday, and week 1 contains the first Thursday: 1 January 2027 still belongs to week 53 of 2026. US weeks start on Sunday with week 1 containing 1 January.
- Regional holidays need a region code such as
DE-BY,CH-ZHorUS-CA; without it you get only nationwide holidays. - Turn localNames off to print holiday names in English.
- A school year: set startMonth to 9 and months to 12; holidays are taken from both years.
- Year-at-a-glance pages read best on landscape paper.
- Print at 100 %; the notes lines are spaced for handwriting only at true size.
FAQ
Which countries have holidays?
Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and the United States.
Why does the first column change when I change the language?
Without a country, the region is guessed from the language (for example Egypt for Arabic, which starts weeks on Saturday). Set weekStart to fix it.
Can I print a calendar for 2031?
Yes, the calendar works for 1900–2200, but holidays are only available for 2024–2030.
Are the month names correct in every language?
They come from CLDR through the JavaScript Intl API, the same data your operating system uses.
